Balloonapalooza releases A Mime of its Own video

The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association (DWBIA) and the Downtown Windsor Business Revitalization Association today released a second Balloonapalooza video promoting the upcoming festival to be held in downtown Windsor, August 25-26.
 

Bailey the Mime, one of the characters to be featured at the festival, recently took to the downtown streets promoting Balloonapalooza. The video portrays Bailey the Mime's afternoon interacting with local businesses and people on the street.

The video was shot by Liam McWade and features Bailey Soulliere as the mime. McWade and Soulliere are University of Windsor Communication, Media and Film and Drama students.

The video is posted on YouTube and can also be found on all of the Balloonapalooza social media pages including Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.   CLICK ALL LINKS TO VIEW!

This year, Balloonapalooza promises entertainment for people of all ages including giant cold air balloons and inflatables; live outdoor music concerts; bustling sidewalk cafés; a mini express train; a midway; slides and bouncers; balloon artists, clowns, buskers and more.

UWSA COMING HOME FESTIVAL

Last years event was UNREAL!!! Thousands of people came to the Riverfront Plaza Stage to rock out with legendary artists who put on a great show. The University of Windsor Student Alliance teamed up with AMP Entertainment, St Clair College and the Downtown Bar Association to bring you Benny Bannassi AND Windsor's OWN Richie Hawtin! Together they have revolutionized Electronic music and showed Windsor something many have never experienced before.

W.E Care for Kids Fundraiser at The Boom Boom Room

Friday May 18th, 2012 at Windsor's only World Class Night Club, Cloudnine Entertainment will be hosting a local charity benefit to raise funds for W.E Care for Kids. It is a tremendous charity that helps sick children and their families in OUR community be a little more comfortable during their difficult times.

There will be a $5 entrance fee where 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the foundation itself. The night will consist of several performances including myself (10-1130) Satta Don Dada from Detroit who will be making his way over to play from 1130-1230. Cash Dough, a rapper who has performed with the likes of Sean Kingston, Snoop Dogg, 3 6 Mafia among many more will be the hype man for the evening + a special performance of some of his original tracks. To close the night off we have Local Legend DJ THOR!!!! Who will surely be bringing the heat with the hottest tracks!!

Mynt Nightclub

Hello Windsor, as my 1st post I would like to comment on one of Windsor's finest entertainment destinations, from their lighting to the quality of sound, the personalities of the staff, whom have always been extremely friendly. Mynt Nightclub has boomed onto the scene as one of Windsor's best in quality entertainment. DJ Nikko or DJ Am-E are always tearing up the dance floor with booming bass and the hottest beats. If you have not had an opportunity to experience the wonders of Mynt Nightclub I highly suggest you make your way there next weekend! You should not be disappointed by your nights outcome as the staff of Mynt have dedicated a lot of time to ensuring that you have an optimal experience right from the moment you walk you through doors.
